Privacy Policy

• Account details — your name (optional), email address, and password (stored securely, hashed by our authentication provider).
• Quiz & preferences — your cruise-match quiz answers and any free-text description you provide.
• Trip requests — travel dates, budget, party size, and email when you ask our AI concierge to email you recommendations.
• Usage data — basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used.

• To generate your personalized cruise recommendations.
• To create and manage your account and saved matches.
• To respond to your trip requests and email you the recommendations you asked for.
• To send marketing communications only if you have given express consent (see Section 4).
• To improve our matching engine and overall service.

We process transactional information (recommendations, trip requests, account management) because it is necessary to provide the service you requested. Marketing email is processed only on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Canada (CASL). We send commercial electronic messages (CEMs) only with your express consent. At sign-up, the marketing opt-in is unchecked by default — you must actively opt in. We keep a record of when and how you consented. Every message identifies Miniony, includes our contact information, and offers a working unsubscribe mechanism that we honor promptly (within 10 business days, per CASL).

United States (CAN-SPAM). Our marketing emails use accurate “from” and subject lines, identify the message as an advertisement where applicable, include our physical mailing address, and provide a clear way to opt out. We process opt-outs within 10 business days and do not sell or transfer the email addresses of people who have unsubscribed.

You can withdraw consent anytime by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at the address in Section 9.

Canada (PIPEDA). You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask how it has been used or disclosed.

United States (incl. California / CCPA-CPRA). Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, correct inaccuracies, and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email us (Section 9). We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site (for example, our database/authentication provider and, if enabled, an AI model provider used to generate recommendations). These providers are bound to use the data only to provide services to us.

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations (including retaining proof of marketing consent). We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including row-level security on our database, to protect your data.

Miniony is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
